Market Stand is a digital platform connecting local vendors with customers in St. Kitts & Nevis. The Service enables vendors to list their products and services, and customers to discover and connect with local businesses.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration: To access certain features, you must create an account with accurate information.

3.2 Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

3.3 Account Types: The Service offers different account types including Customer, Vendor, and Administrator accounts.

3.4 Vendor Approval: Vendor accounts require approval before becoming active on the platform.

4. Vendor Responsibilities

Vendors using the Service agree to:

  • Provide accurate business information and product listings
  • Maintain valid business licenses as required by local law
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner
  • Honor prices and availability as listed on the platform
  • Comply with all applicable food safety and health regulations
  • Not engage in misleading or fraudulent practices

5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers using the Service agree to:

  • Use the Service for lawful purposes only
  • Treat vendors with respect in all communications
  • Not misuse the contact features for spam or harassment
  • Verify product details directly with vendors before purchase

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Platform Content: The Market Stand platform, including its design, code, features, and branding, is the exclusive property of Market Stand LLC and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

6.2 User Content: Vendors retain ownership of their product listings and images but grant Market Stand a license to display this content on the platform.

6.3 Restrictions: You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service without written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY OF VENDOR LISTINGS, PRODUCT AVAILABILITY, OR THE QUALITY OF GOODS AND SERVICES OFFERED BY VENDORS. TRANSACTIONS BETWEEN CUSTOMERS AND VENDORS ARE CONDUCTED AT YOUR OWN RISK.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MARKET STAND LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY TRANSACTIONS WITH VENDORS.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service, engage in fraudulent activity, or harm the platform or other users. Vendors may also have their accounts terminated if they fail to maintain required business standards.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Federation of St. Christopher and Nevis. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts of St. Kitts & Nevis.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the Service or via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
